Why did I choose the name Fusion Homeopathy?
I started learning homeopathy many years ago, studying classes offered by Joette Calabrese, and was part of the first graduation classes from her Academy of Practical Homeopathy® and Mastery™.
Starting my homeopathic education with Joette gave me an edge I didn't even realize until much later when I started taking classes from other homeopaths. This is because she has a very different method of using homeopathic remedies utilizing the Banerji Protocols™. In the rest of the homeopathic community, 'Protocols' is a bad word. The Banerji Protocols™ (more information on the Banerji Protocols here and the new website here) are based on the condition or the diagnosis. This is a HUGE paradigm shift as the majority of homeopaths choose single remedies that are very explicitly based on the individual. I have found the Banerji Protocol™ to be very effective in resolving pathology and, in some cases, miraculous.
Using protocols is such a big no-no in the homeopathy world that the North American Homeopathic Society rejected my membership application simply because I use protocols, even though I clearly meet all their criteria for membership.
Even though I have been very successful in helping people with their health issues using Banerji Protocol™ for years, I decided to enroll in the Centre for Homeopathic Education's licensure program. I wanted to learn more ways of using homeopathic remedies and deepen my understanding of each of the remedies. And to be honest, try to understand the fuss about using one remedy at a time. This rigorous program required essays (not one of my talents), live case-taking, exams, and more. But the most significant thing was that I had lectures with fourteen different amazing, experienced homeopaths, all of whom had their own style of using homeopathic remedies. At times, they even contradicted each other, demonstrating that there are actually a lot of "rule breakers" in the homeopathic world.
I continue to expand my knowledge of different homeopathic methods by taking master-level classes taught by experienced homeopaths.
So, what do I do with all this conflicting information about using homeopathic remedies?
Some people have severe pathologies and benefit from the well-documented and researched Banerji Protocols™. Others may be mostly in good health and simply need a little tweak here or there, and a classical view of their case may yield good results. But most people benefit from a mixture of methods.
